About
Welcome to Hard Nocks Lacrosse (HNL), where we provide top-tier lacrosse skills and fitness training in the Seattle area. At HNL, we bridge the gap between individual training and the team-oriented focus of local and club lacrosse programs. Our sessions are designed to be focused, fast-paced, and highly instructive. We’re committed to developing young men to be explosive athletes, dynamic lacrosse players, and team leaders.
Taking its name from an iconic gym in Amesbury, Massachusetts, where many great lacrosse players (and John Cena) trained, this program embodies that same grit-and-grind mentality. Join us to elevate your game!

Training Stations
1x Strength - Focused on building functional strength appropriate for still growing athletes, this HIIT style station will allow athletes to build core, lateral, and explosive strength. HNL will spend extra time teaching the athletes the principles of each exercise with an emphasis on form and technique over quantity and speed.
1x Footwork - Being focused and intentional about efficient, fast, and explosive footwork in practice allows for it to become second nature to athletes in games. Moments of transition - going from a jog to a sprint, a back pedal to a side shuffle, etc - are where both offensive and defensive players win and lose matchups. HNL will focus on teaching, practicing, and mastering good habits in athletes' foot work for them to win their matchups all spring long.
1x Chalk Talk - Each clinic, our HNL coaches will hold a ten minute chalk talk. Topics will vary from lacrosse X and O’s, leadership, championship mindset, and more. Stay tuned for details on what will be covered in each week's session.
3x Skill Based - Skill stations will vary based on where HNL coaches identify the needs of our athletes. However, attackmen and midfielders can generally expect a shooting, passing/feeding, and dodging station. Defenders can expect an on ball defense, an approach (either sliding or to dodgers), and a stick skills station. Athletes who take face offs will all be placed into a single midfield group and will split off for at least one of the skill based stations per clinic.
